12 Minutes of Game
Haylie is our “anything electronic fan.” She loves video games, computer games, listening to music on her MP3 player, movies, movies, movies…
Recently, we had to put a limit on her “play time.” It was looking like it was going to be getting out of hand, REALLY soon. So Joe and I agreed that she should have a time limit every day… At the same time, he said 10 minutes and I said 15. So we agreed that she could have 12 minutes of computer game time. Luckily, she’s young enough that 12 minutes seems like a lot.
As you can see, the concentration is intense! Notice her form… the way she is arching her back, I’m sure, helps her move faster. And the whitish color of her right index finger tells me that she is SERIOUS about Sonic the Hedgehog.
And here. She wanted me to capture the “blueness” of her candy stained mouth, but couldn’t bring herself from looking away from the computer. Now that takes talent. ;)
Love my Hays.
Feeling a little blue…
Most Fridays Haylie brings home some sort of candy that her bus driver gives her. Today it was one of those long Laffy Taffy sticks and she was gracious ;) enough to share with Connor. I don’t know how they did it, but it got all over.
If you couldn’t tell from the way he is trying to hide the fact that he’s sticking his tongue out at me, he was mad at me here because I chased him all around the living room trying to get a picture of his blue lips.
For the sake of being able to say I keep up with my blog…

Back!
HOLY MOLY! It’s been over a month since my last post.. guess it’s about time for an update! Right now, though, all of my holiday pictures are on Joe’s laptop, so this will have to suffice.
Maggie turned 8 months on the 12th! And this about sums her up these days… she is ALL OVER! As you can see, she took a nose dive off of our bed and skinned up her nose. Poor girl. :( The scab is almost off now. She has really taken off in the last few days… crawling all over the house. It’s like she has this radar and anytime I move, she is not far behind. She pulls herself up to everything! I have her to thank for keeping me on my toes… any time now, the “anal-ness” of keeping my floors clean will kick in, I’m sure. She can already spot the cat food from a mile away. ICK!
Oh the tongue. She is constantly playing with it. One day, I’m sure she will be one of the few who is able to reach her nose with her tongue… And yes. My daughter has elf ears. :S She sure is a cute elf, though!
More posts to come as soon as I get my pictures off the laptop!!
