Exciting Day!!!

Well... we have been a bunch of our financial documents to send off to get pre-approved for a home loan, and today was the day. We finally got it together, met our real estate agent to look at a house, and made an offer, all in the course of about an hour and a half! Everything just happened so fast and it's a lot more stressful than I thought it would be... I hope our offer gets accepted. Joe's been way more optimistic than I have on this one. I guess I'm just nervous that it won't work out. Everyone please include us in your prayers so we can get out of this neighborhood!!!

Little this...little that...

Nothing really new and exciting going on. Haylie has an ear infection and tonsilitis which has not been fun. She feels really yucky and we all seem to be suffering because of her sickness. Joe's still working out at "H", but hopefully only for another 3 weeks and then he'll be back out on the road! We're hoping to find a place far away from this block as soon as our lease is up.
I'd post new pictures, except we left our camera at Joe's parent's house when we went last week.

I HATE MY HOUSE!!!!

Or rather I hate my neighborhood. Except my first grade teacher taught me never to say "hate" so... I strongly dislike my neighborhood.
SO much drama on this street, particularily with the family right across the road from us. They don't have a phone. So, the mom comes over to use ours. Well, it's happened a couple times, and then she didn't come over for a few weeks. Well Friday, we had taken the dogs to the river, and when we got back she was walking down the street. She told us that she really appreciated us letting her use the phone. So, we felt bad, and Joe tells her "No problem. Any time." So she says, "Well can I use it right now?" SO, of course he let's her. She sits down outside our door and talks for about a half hour, looking for apartments to rent, gets up to leave and says, "Oh by the way... I gave your number as a call back." So we've been getting these phone calls for her. We went over once and told her that someone had called, but haven't since. That's only the beginning... but way too long and way too dramatic to explain on here. Our lease is up the middle of May, and it couldn't come any slower!!! HELP US!!!

Update!

Ok, according to Camille my blog needs to be updated. SO, what's new? Umm..Haylie fell out of the shopping cart on Saturday night and it was quite the ordeal. We were afraid she might have had a concussion, so we kept her up til about 9:30 just to make sure that she was ok, and it turned out she was, thankfully.
Joe has started going out "H" and it sucks big time. He gets up around 4:30 and leaves the house by about 5. Works starts for him at 6:30 and then he gets off at 5...home again around 6. It definitely is not the coolest job he's ever had. The only good thing about it is he gets Fridays off, so it's a nice break. I can't wait til Spring is here so he can start going on his real jobs. Then he's home for 6 days straight, depending on the job.
Tomorrow night we're going to the Harlem Globetrotters game!! We're so excited, but wish Camille and Trav were coming with us. We're wishing we already had our tax returns back so we could have a little extra money to have fun with, but they aren't expected to get here til Friday or Saturday (HOPEFULLY!!).
Anyway, that's all for now... when something exciting happens, I'll write again!

Never again!

Ok, so today Camille and I decided that we were gonna go shopping since she had a half day of work. Everthing started out ok.. Haylie fell asleep so I'm thinking I'm in the clear since she'll be rested up. Boy was I wrong! I don't know if she just didn't get enough sleep or what, but I'm pretty sure today was the worst day I've ever had, being out with the kids. I won't go into details but I will say that I don't think Camille's gonna want to hang out with me anymore. They were horrible!!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

Our Weekend!

Just wanted to fill everyone in on our weekend.... pretty good one I think. Friday afternoon, we decided that since we've lived here for about a year now, it was probably time to get Washington driver's licenses. Mine's hideous, by the way.
Friday night Joe and I went out on a date. Nothing too fancy.. just had dinner at Tony Roma's. Taylor babysat for us and I think the kids were a pretty good form of birth control for her... I don't think she'll be having any, anytime soon.
Saturday we didn't do much, but Saturday night we went to dinner, again, with Trav and Camille. SO much fun! Just went to Red Robin, but it's so nice to have big people to talk to and it seems like Joe has a lot in common with Travis and same for Camille and I. After dinner we each needed to make a Fred Meyer stop, so Camille and I sent the boys off with Haylie and Connor and we looked at Valentine's decor and had a blast!
Today we went out to church with them, and it was quite the adventure. I don't think I remember much of what was said... MY KIDS ARE SO LOUD!! So after church we came home and watched the big football game and ate a bunch of chips and dips. Yuck... won't do it again.
Probably going to dinner at T & C's house on Tuesday night and way excited!! :)
