Tree Hunting!

So, it’s not all bad when you don’t get the tree of your dreams. We had a BLAST walking around in the snow. Corry came with us and I am really loving having him around. He is such a help with the kids! We love him. :)

Connor wanted “this tree” and offered to carry it the whole way! What a big strong helper he is! :)

All warm and toasty! My mom got this for us when Haylie was a baby and it just fits Maggie. I love it. Takes me back…

All in all we had a great time getting our tree this year. Even if it’s not the perfect tree. Priceless time spent together, sharing laughs, telling stories, and making memories are what we will remember. Because really… Christmas isn’t about the perfect tree. :)

Oh that looks fun! We just pulled our tree out of a box! I think I want to try to get a real tree next year.

It's been a long time since I've caught up on every ones blog. Mostly since it makes me so homesick for you. Seriously this stinks to be so far away. I had to go way back to catch up. That maggie is so cute. And her rolls are just like Joe's. He could sit up by himself when he was 3 months old. We just stacked up his spare tires around him and there he was. And I love the tree. Can't wait to see it decorated. Haylie and Connor are getting so big. I can't believe how grown up they look. I'm just counting the days til I get them here. maybe you should come sooner or stay longer. Really. Love you.

The last picture--of Maggie in the snow--she looks like a little chubby mini Haylie!

ok LOVE that you actually go out and do this. I'm so lame! I'm to lazy, and pull it out of the box too. I grew up with real trees, and love it, yet, I'm still too lazy! :) Way to be a great parent!!!
